Installing S-TV App is very easy once you understand how a Firestick works, but it is basically 3 steps.

Welcome to the Simply Exciting S-TV family!
To help guide you through the setup process you need to understand that there are 2 sets of credentials; 1 set is the username & password for the website which is for accessing your billing and account services, and the 2nd set is the S-TV app username and password which will be used in this setup process. Additional Note: Username and Passwords are case sensitive please ensure that you are using the credentials as they are given in the email without making changes on your end.
Our easy-to-follow, step-by-step tutorial ensures that you are guided through each stage of the setup, from enabling installations from unknown sources to entering your subscription details. This ensures a smooth path to accessing a ton of streaming options—be it live TV, the latest movies, or binge-worthy series.
Follow this guide carefully for a trouble-free installation and jump straight into enjoying a rich viewing experience on your Firestick or any Android-based device.
Initially, we’ll walk you through enabling ‘Unknown Sources’ to ensure your device is prepped for installation. Step 1: Enable Unknown Sources
Begin by preparing your Firestick for the Simply Exciting S-TV installation:
- Head to the “Settings” on your Firestick’s home screen.
- Scroll to select ‘My Fire TV’ > About > highlight Fire TV Stick 4K Max (or any other depending on the device you own) and Press the OK button 10 times to enable Developer Options.
Enable Unknown Sources 1.2:
To ensure the Downloader app can install Simply Exciting S-TV on your device, follow these steps:
- Select Developer Options.
- Find ‘Install Unknown Apps‘ or ‘Apps from Unknown Sources‘ and select it.
By enabling this setting, you grant the Downloader app permission to install third-party applications, like Simply Exciting S-TV, which are not available through the official app store.
Step 2: Get Downloader App on Firestick
- Go to Home Screen and from the Menu click on Find or Magnyfying Glass icon.
- Type the “Downloader”using the On–Screen
- The Downloader has the Orange Background so ensure you are Downloading the Correct app.
- From the next screen, click on the Download button.
Step 3: Download and Set up Simply Exciting S-TV
- Now launch the Downloader app.
- Click Allow when asked permission to access Media, Files, etc.
- Hit Got it when the Quick Guide Menu pops up.
- Click on the Empty Box and using the keyboard type: tv.geniestv.com and press Go.
- Move the cursor and select the stv.apk file and Download the app.
- Downloading will take some time, don’t click any key on the remote to avoid interruptions.
- Once the app is downloaded, the Installation screen will appear, hit Install from the bottom right.
- Wait for a while and the installation will take 5 – 10 seconds, once completed click on Hamburger Menu or Open to launch the app.
Download and Set up Simply Exciting S-TV:
Installation of Simply Exciting S-TV has been completed successfully,
Make sure that you have your App login credentials with you and follow the next steps:
- When the app is launched you will be asked to choose a Device Type, you can always switch back and forth in the app settings to your preference but choose TV.
- On the Next Screen, you will be asked to put in a Name, Username and Password, Connect VPN, List Users.
Note: Do not use the Connect VPN option from the App.
- Type in “Simply Exciting” in the Any Name box, then the App Username and Password and hit the Add User button.
Ignore the Connect VPN & List Users button at this time, but as you get familiar with using the S-TV app you will understand what these buttons are for.
- Now the Playlist (tv guide also referred to as EPG) will be added. Each section (Live TV, Movies, Series) is done manually. Once done you are ready to view any section. Updating the TV Guide is done whenever you need to by just clicking on it.
- Once the Content is Downloaded you will be able to access each section, so go to Live TV, Movies, or Series. IF THE S-TV APP IS SLOW OR DOES NOT RESPOND ACCORDINGLY --- READ BELOW.
The services provided have thousands of channels & movies all categorized into what are referred to as Bouquets. The more Bouquets enabled the slower the app will respond. Disabling Bouquets / Categories will make the S-TV app run better.
SLOW APP RESPONSE FIX
THE KEY TO HAVING A GREAT EXPERIENCE IS DONE BY ONLY ENABLING THE BOUQUETS THAT YOU NEED TO WATCH OR VIEW.
ENABLING / DISABLING BOUQUETS OR CATEGORIES
You can customize your viewing of Bouquets or Categories by enabling or disabling them under “Parental Controls” within the S-TV app settings. Simply click on the “Settings” gear in the upper right corner of the main screen, then select “Parental Control”.
- You will have to create a password for Parental Control and enter it twice, then click save. (remember this if you want to enable/disable categories)
- Notice each Bouquet / Category has an open lock on the right. Go through the entire list and click on each that you want to disable (block from viewing), or click again to re-enable. You can also come back and re-enable. Reducing the amount of Bouquets/Categories will make the app run faster and more responsive.
Additional Note: You may request to have Bouquets/Categories permanantly removed from your account simplifying your S-TV app. Currently we offer to remove International Bouquets/Categories and Adult Bouquets/Categories. If you would like either of these removed please use the chat icon on the website homepage.
